Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, November 3, reveals that Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) followed a pilot trail while Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) accepted Li Shin’s (Remington Hoffman) offer. Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) also shared a moment over wedding cake, so here’s how all the DOOL action played out.
At DiMera Enterprises, Wendy spoke to Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) over the phone about hoping to look through Li’s papers for evidence.
EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) caught Wendy, so she lied about being on the phone with someone from Fairbanks and made up a bogus excuse regarding the papers. After officially meeting EJ and chatting a bit, Wendy acted like accounting wanted her to look into Li’s expenses.
EJ granted Wendy access to the records, so she realized Li had inquired about pilots who’d left DiMera in the last five years. After a call to the travel department, Wendy scored all the info and hoped to figure out which pilot might’ve flown Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) and where they took him.
At the DiMera mansion, Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) caught Johnny talking to Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) portrait. After touching Johnny’s hands and clearing up her “bad connection,” Susan had a hunch that Johnny really was going after EJ.
Johnny insisted EJ was the one who did something wrong – at least he suspected it. Susan got updates on EJ potentially being involved in Stefan’s brainwashing and begged his grandma to keep her mouth shut.
When EJ returned home on Thursday’s Days episode, he wondered what Johnny was pushing Susan to keep quiet about.
At Basic Black, Li found Chloe with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and played up her talent. Li then offered Chloe an executive position at DiMera Enterprises, so Brady thought this had Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) written all over it.
However, Li insisted Kristen had been fired and had nothing to do with this. Chloe worried Stefan might be behind the job offer instead, but Li maintained that she earned this job on her own merit.
In the end, Chloe accepted the position before Li dashed out. Brady kept acting like he was holding something back, so Chloe wound up in tears again and pushed him to come clean.
Nevertheless, Brady insisted there was nothing and congratulated Chloe on her new job, so she stomped off crying.
In the town square, a Sweet Bits employee brought out some cakes for Gabi to sample and mistakenly assumed Stefan was her fiancé. Stefan admitted he was married to Gabi briefly, but he added it didn’t work out very well.
After Stefan suggested Gabi robbed him of his own chance at a wedding cake and only married him for revenge, she insisted he was wrong. Gabi did want revenge, but she also developed feelings for Stefan – and there was indeed a chocolate hazelnut cake with blood orange filling in the kitchen that night.
Stefan found a similar cake slice on the taste-testing tray and took a bite. After Stefan offered Gabi a bite too, he fed it to her. It was even better than Gabi remembered since she liked sweet with a hint of bitterness.
Soon after, Li caught Stefan and Gabi together, so he asked if he was interrupting. Stefan warned Li not to choose the chocolate hazelnut since it would end up bitter and strutted off.
Once Li tasted a vanilla cake with buttercream and blueberries, he admitted he liked it. Li wondered if Gabi thought it was too cloying, but extra sweet was just what she wanted now.
Back at DiMera Enterprises, Wendy left Johnny a voicemail about hopefully getting one step closer to finding out whether Li and EJ did something to Stefan. When Stefan appeared, he wondered if someone said his name.
At Basic Black on Thursday’s Days episode, Nicole Walker-Hernandez (Arianne Zucker) and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) were uncomfortable with Alex Kiriakis’ (Robert Scott Wilson) modeling idea.
Alex was adamant that Eric and Nicole would create magic together, so he pushed for some test shots as proof of concept. Nicole was wary since she hadn’t even told Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) about the first photos, but she surrendered along with Eric.
As Alex snapped pics of Nicole and Eric, he gushed over how amazing they looked together. We’ll keep you posted as other Days news comes in.
